On 11 June 2014 Andrey Khorunzhiy, Managing Partner of Mintax Group, Yerlan Galiyev, Independent Partner, MinTax Group and Laura Satybaldina, Project Director took part in III Almaty Business Forum (ABF-2014) on the topic “Free movement of goods, services and capital and manpower within the framework of the Customs Union -risks, problems, solutions”. 

ABF-2014 was organized and held with participation of the following entities: Almaty Chamber of Commerce, Regional Office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in the Central Asia, Almaty city Akimat, “Zarubezh Expo” OJSC, Damu Fund for Entrepreneurship Development, Business club of the Customs Union in Almaty, Interfax-Kazakhstan press centre with the support of the Russian Trade Representation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Almaty, RosSelkhozBank Representation in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Andrey Khorunzhiy made a report dedicated to tax planning issues.

Laura Satybaldina’s report covered actual problems of changes in the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the latest discussions in the Government.

Yerlan Galiyev devoted his report to the new requirements of the licensing law (licensing procedures).

MinTax Group specialists also participated in the discussion of topical issues of the Forum, answered questions from the audience. 

The importance  of the III Almaty Business Forum in 2014, as a significant platform for dialogue between business and authorities for determining the effective mechanisms of economic integration of the Eurasian countries, is conditioned by the development of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space in the conditions of the completed and planned accession of CES countries to the WTO.
