The interests of the entrepreneurs and the small and medium business of our countries are given the priority for the Customs Code drafting. Such approach was announced by Vladimir Goshin, Customs Cooperation Minister at the VI Annual Small and Medium Business Development Forum , BNews.kz informs with the reference to the Commission’s Press Service.
On 19 May, Vladimir Goshin, Collegium Member (Minister) on the Customs Cooperation of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) participated in the VI Annual Small and Medium Business Development Forum arranged by the Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship – The Russia’s Stronghold in conjunction with Vedomosti Newspaper.
Vladimir Goshin reported on the improvements of the Customs Code of the Customs Union arranged by the customs block of the EEC. The Minister pointed out the key points of the draft and the problems of the customs administration in the Customs Union. In particular, among the main points of the draft, the Minister focused on electronic customs declarations and the potential customs transactions related to the registration of the customs declaration and issue of the goods, automated information systems of the Customs authorities.
«We are drafting the new Customs Code in the close cooperation with the business communities of Belorussia, Kazakhstan and Russia, and we strive to give the priority to the interests of entrepreneurs, to stimulate the development of the small and medium business of our countries», Vladimir Goshin pointed out.
