Plant of tablets in Aktau: Aktau City Court announced the verdict on the case of fraud , Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press service of Mangistau regional court.

Deputy Director of Caspiy Electronics LLP, Alexander Pavlenko was convicted because of fraud in official positions ina large scale and was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment with confiscation of property. Pavlenko, who was until then under house arrest, was taken into custody in the courtroom.

Deputy Chairman of “Caspian”, Yergali Kayupov was recognized as guilty because of abuse of office and sentenced to three years’ imprisonment. However, he is freed from the punishment due to the amnesty.

Pavlenko and Kayupova paid legal costs in the amount of 273 thousand tenge.

On the episode about the theft of 121.22 million tenge, Kayupov and Pavlenko are acquitted for lack of evidence, the press – service informed.

Sentencing has not entered into force and may be challenged or appealed within 15 days.

For information: management of Caspiy Electronics LLP was accused of fraud and embezzlement of entrusted property. Plant of tablets in Aktau declared release of 67,000 tablet computers, 40,000 TVs  and 43 thousand monitors per year. In September 2013, the financial police found that the plant Accu purchased Chinese devices and announced them as their own. Equipment, which allegedly costed 600 million tenge was rated only 20 million tenge.
