Today under the chairmanship of Mr. N. Nigmatulin Bureau of Majilis was held at which issues of the forthcoming plenary meeting were determined. Information is presented by the Majilis press-service. 

Draft amendments to the Constitutional law “On the court system and the status of the Republic of Kazakhstan” will be considered at the first meeting. As the Committee report states, the document is aimed at the improvement of independence of arbitrators, improvement of the procedure of competition selection of candidates to be appointed to arbitrators’ positions; public role strengthening, when selecting candidates to be appointed to arbitrators positions and etc.

A draft agenda of the plenary meeting includes amendments to the Code on administrative offences and a draft law concerning ratification of the Protocol on application of the Agreement of 18 October 2011 on the Free Trade Zone between its parties and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The amendments will be considered in the first reading.   

The Chamber is also suggested determining a deadline for preparation of a conclusion on the draft law on ratification of the Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Agreement on strategically partnership.
