ASTANA, 23 December Novosty-Kazakhstan IA. Kazakhstan President, Nursultan Nazarbayev has made additions, according to which 23 June was declared the Day of the public officer, as informed by the official website of Akorda www.akorda.kz.

“I hereby order to amend the decree of 20 January 1998 No. 3827 “On professional and other holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan” as follows: a list of professional and other holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the above-mentioned Decree shall be added paragraph 1.9 as follows: June 23 shall be the day of the public officer. This Decree comes into force from the date of first publication,” the text states.
