ASTANA, 10 December – Novosty-Kazkahstan IA. Nursultan Nazarbayev, the president of Kazakhstan has signed the Law “On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Labour Migration Issues” aimed at improvement of the state policy in the labour migration area, the website of Akorda informs.
The law provides for condition which forbids conclusion of an employment contract for works performance or services provision by one employee, being individual in the household with more than 5 migrants simultaneously.
Besides, the law provides for reduction of the residence period of repatriates in the territory of the republic from 5 to 5 years for citizenship obtainment.
The law also provides for strengthening the control over migrants by introduction of dakto-photo registration.
According to information of the Ministry of economics and budget panning, the main purpose of the law is legalization of labour migrants, improvement of the state regulation of migration processes with respect to determination of a procedure of issuance of a permit to a labour migrant to perform labour activities for the benefit of individuals.
