As reported on Saturday by Wall Street Journal, the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon, is going to introduce its own smartphone with 3D- TV in the second half of this year.

A few weeks ago, Amazon has already shown the device application in San Francisco and Seattle, where the company’s headquarters is located. According to the newspaper, the official presentation of the smartphone will be held in June. We can see it on the market by the end of September – in anticipation of the start of the Christmas season sales in the U.S.

Phone screen from Amazon will support the technology of three-dimensional images (3D). However, users will be able to see them without special glasses. “Front camera function will maintain an option of tracking the position of eyes. Images on the smartphone will look like three-dimensional holograms” – the newspaper said, citing sources familiar with the plans of the company.

In March one received information that the Amazon smartphone will be equipped with 5 -inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 801, 2000-2400 mAh battery capacity and six cameras. Six optical modules allegedly will be the main “schtick” of the device. One camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels will be designed to take pictures, the second front – for video calls, and four will be used to recognize user gestures and facial expressions
