Korean media continue to provide information about the future flagship Smartphone Samsung – GALAXY S5. This time it is reported that the novelty can go in several versions.
Sources say that the Korean company decided to release the device, at least in two versions. First will get a metal body and will be included into the in the premium segment, and the second is the “standard” plastic flagship. It may occur that the device with a flexible display will be released (though perhaps, Samsung just made the curved plastic and metal version).
The devices will be available with two types of processors – a powerful 64 -bit Exynos and not less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. However, it’s unclear what will be the distribution. Perhaps, the plastic flagship will be equipped with a chip Exynos, the production of which will not be so voluminous as Snapdragon 805, and perhaps Korean manufacturer wants to highlight a mass product through a 64- bit processor.
Other specifications will include the flagship 5 -inch display (most likely with a resolution of 2600 x 1440 pixels), 3 GB of RAM, 16 – megapixel camera (ISOCELL), 2-megapixel front-end modules and capacious battery 4000 mAh ( it is unclear how it will be put in its compact body). Operating System – Android 4.4 KitKat. Perhaps, the Smartphone will have the iris scanner. It is reported that the mass production of Samsung GALAXY S5 will start in January, the announcement will take place in February, and the product will appear on the market in March. Interestingly, the Korean manufacturer expects that sales of GALAXY S5 will only be at the level of 70 % of the level of sale of GALAXY S4. The current flagship sales do not go as expected by Samsung.
