An objective of an Agreement on Agreed –upon – Procedures (AUP) is carrying out by an auditor the procedures of audit nature, which have been agreed upon with the auditor, entity and any related third party, as well as presentation of a report (opinion) on evidences revealed. The Agreement on Agreed –upon – Procedures (AUP) may include performance by the auditor of certain procedures in respect of certain articles of financial information (for example payables, receivables, purchased from related parties as well as selling and profit of an entities’ segment), financial statements (for example, accounting balance) or even full set of financial reporting.
Report (opinion) shall be presented to those parties only, who have consented to carry out such procedures.
