In 2014 KTZH plans to run 5 high-speed trains.

– In 2013, two high-speed trains were brought into operation between Astana -Atyrau , Almaty-Atyrau. In 2014, one plans to bring into operation 5 more trains: Astana  – Kyzylorda , Aktobe – Almaty, Astana  – Ust-Kamenogorsk , Almaty – Ust-Kamenogorsk , Almaty –Tashkent, the President of JSC Kazakhstan Temir Joly,  Askar Mamin said on the meeting on the results of the year.

In addition, according to the president of KTZH one plans commissioning  rail and structural steel plant in Aktobe and plant for the production of diesel engine GEVO in  Astana and opening waggonage traffic for new railway lines Zhezkazgan – Beineu and Arkalyk – Shubarkol.
