Kazakhstan announced the problems of entrepreneurs. Business in regions is experiencing many difficulties. This was told by the Deputy Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, Gulnar Kurbanbaeva, the correspondent of Kapital.kz Business Portal informs.
The first type of problems is connected with the organization of the business. “Unfortunately, we have not reached that level yet, when our people wishing to start a business, would understand that this is a profession, but not a way to solve economic problems. Many people forget that there are a number of legal consequences – checking, reporting, obligation to pay taxes,” Ms. Kurbanbayeva said.
Every second enterprise in Kazakhstan does not carry out activities due to weak development of infrastructure to support business (service, consulting).
Regional problems of entrepreneurs lie in lack of necessary knowledge and skills to conduct business, in the training and retraining of personnel required for business.
Next problem is access to financial resources. “Unfortunately, for small and medium businesses – it is one of the key problems. Interest rates of second tier banks (STB) are too high.
There are government programs that help to obtain cheap loans. “
Bureaucracy is also observed at offices. “Businessman sends a request, the request and the issue is solved during months, and even years. There are problems associated with red tape. Very often, local authorities take a decision on withdrawal of land plots with procedural violations, opacity in public procurement and bribery. There are also problems in matters of taxation, customs and technical regulation,” Gulnara Kurbanbaeva said.
That is why the National Chamber of Business intends to establish a register of business problems and their solutions card. There will be a single “database” on businessmen problems. And to solve complex problems one has created the Public Council on the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs with the participation of members of Parliament, the supervisory authorities. Its branches operate in all regions of Kazakhstan.
