Kazakhtelecom announced tariff reduction. Since January 1, 2014 Kazakhtelecom has changed the billing rate for the service of international telephone connections from 10 seconds to 1 second. This information was provided to  Kapital.kz Business Portal  by Kazakhtelecom press services. 

For example, before December 31, 2013 during a conversation lasting 21 seconds subscriber pays for direction of Russia – 15 tenge, China – 24 tenge, Germany – 24 tenge , United Kingdom – 36 tenge. Since January 1, in 2014 when speaking for 21 seconds the caller has been paying for Russia direction – 9 tenge, China – 16 tenge, Germany – 16 tenge, UK – 25 tenge.

Thus, saving the subscriber’s money in international calls will comprise for Russia direction 6 tenge,   China – 8 tenge, Germany – 8 tenge, UK – 11 tenge.

In addition, in order to improve the conditions of use of the services of Internet access, based on CDMA EVDO technology the level of the monthly fee will be reduced for people in rural areas by 35% from 2 th. tenge to 1 th. 300 tenge, including VAT and from 4 th. tenge to 2 th. tenge to 600 tenge, including VAT. In addition, on January 1, 2014 volume of incoming traffic included in the monthly fee was increased from 2 GB to 3 GB and 6 GB to 7 GB on the relevant tariff plans.

Kazakhtelecom reported that in honor of Independence Day of Kazakhstan, it will provide holiday discounts on long-distance telephone calls from 14 to 17 December.

On December 14 and 15 from 24 pm till 3 am, a night discount for telephone connections to the city of Baikonur and Kazakhstan was 15 %; from 3 am till 6 – 60%. From 6 am till midnight the discount was 33%.

Discounts are valid only for individuals and carried out by automatic long-distance telephone service and shall not be applied when taking the order through the telephone operator.

In addition, during the period from December 13 to 17, 50% discount for ordinary and urgent international telegrams sent to the CIS countries were provided.
