Astana. October 23. All pension funds will be united in the single retirement savings plan in the second half of 2014 as Kazakhstan Today news agency reports.
“It is expected that the unification of all pension funds will be completed in the second half of 2014 ,” the Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Kairat Kelimbetov said during the plenary session of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
As it was previously reported, the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted a resolution dated 31 July 2013 “On creation of the single retirement savings plan.” The Government has decided:
That the Committee on State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall in the manner prescribed by law accept the state block of shares of Retirement Savings Plan JSC belonging to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
In addition, the document published in the legal information system of normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan prescribed to rename Retirement savings plan JSC for a non-profit corporation Single Retirement Savings Plan (SRSP).
One has also prepares a plan of transferring the shares of Retirement Savings Plan JSC, subsidiary organization of National Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, GRANTUM of Retirement Savings Plan (a subsidiary organization of Kazcommertsbank JSC) and Ular Umit of Retirement Savings Plan to the state ownership, that is to SRSP.
On 22 August 2013, Office of Justice of Bostandyk district, Department of Justice of Almaty city performed state re-registration of Retirement Savings Plan JSC due to the change of its name to Single Retirement Pension Plan JSC.
SRSP JSC started its work on 22 August 2013. The sole shareholder of SRSP JSC is the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the person of the Committee of State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan “, one reported in the department of advertising and public relations of SRSP JSC”
The activity of SRSP JSC is governed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on pension coverage, JSCs, non-profit organizations and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
