On 1 August of the current year, the practice of centralization of tax audit services will be implemented in Kazakhstan. This involves the abolition of the tax audit departments at the district level, and their transfer to the regional level, Anuar Dzhumadildaev, the Chairman of the Tax Committee said at the Collegium of the Ministry of Finance of the RK, on July 23, as the official website of the Prime Minister of the RK informs
On 1 August, the successful practices on the centralization of the tax audit will be implemented throughout the country’, A. Dzhumadildaev said.
At that, he noticed, that, in a pilot mode, this sphere was tested in 2 areas – North Kazakhstan and Mangistau.
Testing has shown that, for the 1st quarter of 2013, compared to the same period of the last year, the number of documentary audit is decreased by 60%, while the increase in amounts of taxes additionally charged to the budget is 600%.
This system, according to estimates of international experts, can help to eliminate corruption in the tax audit area.
