The Tax Committee of the RoK Ministry of Finance (hereinafter – TC MF RK), by the Letter # НК-25/3323-И dated 30th April 2013 signed by the Deputy Chairman Mr. А. Skakov, addressed to its territorial subdivisions informs that work is currently being performed for creating Centers for acceptance and processing information of tax authorities (hereinafter – DPC), www.zakon.kz reports. 

A Call center on tax matters with staff number of 100 people is going to be created in the central DPC of Astana.

 

It is anticipated that the Call-center on tax matters will provide consulting and information-explanatory services in respect of:

– matters related to application of tax legislation;

– matters related to filling out and submission of TRF;

– personal account of a taxpayer concerning the status of settlements with the Budget and current tax arrears, etc.

Considering that currently these services are provided by territorial tax authorities, they must perform an analysis and by 17th May 2013 provide TC MF RK with the following information:

1) statistical data concerning the number of appeals from individuals and legal entities sent to the telephone line of tax authorities for the first quarter of 2013;

2) number of employees of tax authorities who are providing the above mentioned consulting and information-explanation services to taxpayers by telephone (with specification of sub-divisions functions of which include this type of service);

3) list of typical questions/answers of individuals and legal entities (separately for each of them);

4) proposals for creation of a single database of questions/answers of taxpayers of the Call-center on tax matters (separately for individuals and legal entities).

 

At that, if the structure of a tax body has a separate subdivision employees of which perform functions related to telephone servicing of taxpayers, it should be reported additionally.
