Due to the moderate rate of inflation in Kazakhstan, as well as the existing conditions of the financial market, the Board of the National Bank of Kazakhstan (the RoK NB) has decided to establish from 1 April 2013 the official refinancing rate of the RoK NB at 5.5% per annum, keeping it on the same level.
