34 enterprises of the republic have become program participants on post-crisis recovery. This was announced on 8 February 2013 by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, S. Akhmetov during an extended meeting of the Ministry of Finance. .  We have began a good work on improvement of the enterprises. 34 enterprises of the republic have become program participants on post-crisis recovery. 11 of which have already received a state support. This is good performance and companies have felt it. They are not brought to bankruptcy thanks to this program. Today these businesses are quite well restored. I think that this work should continue”, S. Akhmetov said.

Please note that in the framework of the President’s instructions for post-crisis recovery, in March 2011, the government adopted a program to improve the health of competitive enterprises with strategic importance for the country’s economy. This program was elaborated to restore competitive enterprises whose debt exceeds 4.5 billion Tenge. Government support for the recovery of enterprises is a temporary measure and implemented to help businesses move to a growth strategy. To join the program, one should pass two stages. The first is to collect documents confirming the nature of the backbone of the enterprise and its compliance with the Program. The second stage involves the development by its consultants of a rehabilitation plan for the company approved by Committee of creditors and then considered at the Council meeting on recovery.
