In 2013, 13 technical regulations of the Customs Union will enter into force in the RoK. This was announced on 13 February 2013 by the Chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, R. Satbayev at the briefing on the implementation of technical regulations of the Customs Union. “To date, 31 technical regulations of the Customs Union adopted, 8 of which came into effect in 2012, for which all measures for adaptation and implementation in the country were taken. In 2013 13 technical regulations of the Customs Union came into force”, R. Satbayev said. He noted that on 15 February of this year, 6 regulations will come into force that establish mandatory requirements for engineering products, and on 1 July 2013, technical regulations for food products came into force.
The head of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology stressed that technical regulations and standards developed are harmonized with the European directives and international standards. In turn, in order to optimize and maximize the transparency of the accreditation, an automated information system “e – accreditation will gradually be implemented.
