Government Decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1685 dated 30 December 2011 introduced amendments into the Government Decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1036 dated 15th October 2005 “On Export Customs Duties on Crude Oil and Goods Produced from Oil”. The changes related to the rates for export customs duties on crude oil and goods produced from oil.

Government Decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1739 dated 31st December 2011 introduced amendments into certain Resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to which the rates for export customs duties were returned to their previous level. Therefore, the rates for export duties on goods produced from oil, remained unchanged. Below table clearly presents all of the changes made to the extent of the rates for export customs duties.
